Nirvana

Still troubled by technology, the day in the office is not worth describing, especially at the end when the general stress found an unfortunate but perhaps necessary escape. The rest was pretty good though. A steady cycle into the office under brilliant sunshine, which reminded me of heading out in the Alps, the air being so crisp and cold. Then a brisk cycle back on the moor road, channelling frustrations into efforts on the hills. Finally, a walk on the moor on a truly beautiful evening, watching the sun set and finishing in near darkness. Nothing like extracting the most from the day. My kind of Nirvana!

I took quite a few shots on the moor this evening but kept coming back to this one of Peter, taken while I was chatting to him in the doorway of the Sun Hotel during a short lunchtime break We got talking about the beautiful weather, but he warned me not to get carried away by reciting an old proverb: "Ne'er cast a clout till May be out". It was something his mother taught him. She was about right. Some etymology here
