6 Days & Counting

Finally it's about here. My lumbar-laminectomy surgery is a week from today. Today's blip is a photo of what I got in my email today. The hospital sent me a informational video of everything I might want to know about every area of the surgery. From what my condition actually is, to how the surgery will be done, to pain management, to the actual hospital stay and then to what to expect in the recovery period, and last the eleven risk factors. It was all with pictures to explain every little detail. I didn't know that hospitals actually did something like this. Many people may not want all of this information, but I am a person who does want to know what to expect. Now it's just hurry up and wait. Not sure you'll get many, if any blips during this period.
