Chicks

A Great Blue Heron chick waiting for more food. There where two chicks, they where very small, less than one week, for sure.

At Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, a separate Swamp Garden where the birds nest in a big rookery. In Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

The area is much bigger than the one in St Augustine Alligator Farm, we visited last year, where the birds nested very close to the walkways.

The weather was perfect for a holiday, only sunshine, not very good for photography. I don't blame :-)
