Living in the cloud

We only call them 'May Mosquitoes' and thanks god they are harmless, don't bite and live their own life. They form swarms and can be seen as black clouds flying around, very often around bushes and hedges. When driving a car and crossing a cloud, car & windscreen are qualified for a wash. Luckily they stay around for approx. 3 weeks and then disappear for the rest of the year.
