Merry Christmas

Yeah I know it's a bit late - or early whichever way you look at it - but we finally got round to taking my parents out for the lunch and afternoon tea we had planned for their Christmas present.

We have been waiting until a) we had a free Saturday all together and b) we had the promise of a nice day weather-wise.

Weather was very good to us. We had a very pleasant lunch and afternoon tea together in Chester and then on to the National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port which included a short trip down the Shroppie canal. A fascinating site for any who have not been and may have an interest.

I guess I'll get a comment from at least one friend on Blip - A27. It's about time you joined up properly and started posting photos mate.

No apologies but there will be a waterways theme to tomorrow's blip as well. This time it will be the Monty which we hope to cycle and walk for 35 miles.
