The first of the mallard ducklings arrived on the local river today. A brood of 8 so sweet to watch their antics and how the mother rounds them up when they go to far astray.

The news from the BlueTitCamBox is that the number of eggs is now 5 the eggs tend to be left unattended during the day and mother shuffles around on them at night. Watching with interest to see how many eggs appear, 6 to 16 is possible and 2 weeks to hatch :-)
