Fellowship meals

Well, we made it to church just in time in the morning and were extremely glad we made the effort! The book of Ruth is being expounded. Fascinating!

We then went for a Friday brunch with our friends Miriam and her mum. Friday brunch is a big institution here - but G & I rarely go, in fact, the last time was last October when SweetArt visited. A really super, relaxed afternoon, in fact, so much so, we didn't get back home till 5:30!!!

Did a bit of racing around until I left home again - this time to walk down to Midnight Café for the first ever reunion of the Youth Group I attended as a teenager/twenty something!!! Only 5 people came though! Not surprising as many of us no longer live in Dubai!!! Thinking of having another one when SweetArt visits in September! :D

A really good day but I am way too tired to be of any use to anyone at the moment!!! Sorry! :)
