Anzac Day 2015

A very important day for NZ... Anzac Day , with this year being 100 years since the battle at Gallipoli .
I have just been to the dawn service here in Hanmer Springs , where we are spending the weekend. It is a very small town yet there were over 1000 people there this morning . Ella and the two others her age who are with us came too.... I was impressed that they did because there is not much that would usually get them out of bed at 6am! I think they understand the sense of history and respect that this special day is all about.

I liked this pic that I took , I think the service man on the left has the Maori Battalion uniform on. He looked really smart.
