Golden currant

I found this blooming in the undergrowth by the stream in the dog park.
Why was I in the undergrowth by the stream you might ask.
Well, last week we had snow on the ground and Laney thought it was great fun to retrieve snow balls I threw in the stream for her to chase. Today the snow is long gone and she did not understand why I was not tossing her snow balls. So I was looking for sticks.
Laney does not think retrieving sticks is much fun. Game over.
