Rhododendron

I bought this plant a few years ago, as I wanted a butter yellow rhodo.  Want I didn't realise is the beautiful pink buds it produces, as an added bonus!  It is planted in the bed by my front door, and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.  This is the first pip to open this year, and although it isn't yet up to full flowering potential, I think it's going to be a good show this year.

Had a busy day full of committee meetings, and also Adam's first night away for Cub camp.  Can't help worrying about my little boy, although I'm sure he'll be absolutely fine.
