Stats in the park

A day at "Heart and Soul", part of the Church of Scotland's General Assembly.

The weather had been disgusting for the few days before, so the blue sky was particularly welcomed. The Stats for Mission stall which I was running was decorated with enormous number-shaped balloons, and right underneath Edinburgh castle!

It was a wonderful day speaking to so many people about how official statistics can help understand communities. A few very significant conversations too which will hopefully beat fruit in the months to come...
