Car had a little breakdown when we were on the way to our Bach (holiday house) for Easter. A stop at Kaikoura and a chat to the AA man confirmed that we were safe to continue and Dad could fix it later. A slow drive - apparently the car goes into "Limp Home" mode, but I got to take photos of the Kaikoura beach at night (without a tripod so they aren't great) so I didn't mind at all.
