A Week Today

On Friday 1st May, the Tour de Yorkshire starts and passes through Pickering on day 1. In fact it will go right past our house.

The town is really getting into the swing of things with bunting going up and bikes being spray painted yellow and blue. There is plans for a big screen in town, music and lots of other activities.

This morning our friends Mike and Amanda who own a B&B in Pickering (11 Westgate) hosted Radio York's breakfast shown from their lounge. Very strange to hear friends and other people we know being interviewed but great publicity for Pickering.
