The upside of getting wet

The weather was rolling down the valley as I walked home from Ilkley today.  Rich, Little Dog and I had been for brunch.  Rich was heading off to do some work so we headed home with the glimmer of hope that there may be some sunshine.

By the White House, the cloud was very slowly starting to break up. This rainbow (just about double) and hanging low over Ilkley, appeared as we got to Rocky Valley so we hung around and got a little wetter for a while.

Once past the Cow & Calf, I came a slightly different way home, lower down, and enjoyed sunshine most of the way back.  After drying off in the breeze, we were home just in time for a downpour as we sat in the kitchen with a cup of tea and listened to the wind whistling past the house.  Perfect timing.

Still feeling quite tired and a little under par so I’m hunkering down with some easy jobs this afternoon.
