I deserve this.

An early start to the day. Up at 5.30am on the road by 6.30am. Many miles covered through beautiful scenery and as my start was early I had most of it to myself. Lovely.

Unfortunately, we had to say "goodbye" to Gizmo this afternoon. She was almost 18 and had lived with me all her life. She was born in my kitchen, when I lived in Leicester. She was the last of Leicester cats to go.

So as I said - I deserve that pint of beer.
