A P McCoy rode his last horserace today. He retires as the champion National Hunt jockey for 20 years in succession.

I had to have a sentimental little flutter on his mount, Box Office. At one point he looked like he might win but he came in a creditable 3rd. So I didn't win anything but he has brought lots of happy memories.

If you want to see one of his best ever victories, look on YouTube for "AP McCoy Cheltenham Wichita Lineman". Its spectacular. He makes the horse believe it can win through sheer willpower.
