Kingfisher

After a wet start to the day, the afternoon brightened up and I decided to go to Lackford Lakes in search of the Kingfisher.   I waited in the hides by the lakes where I had seen it before but no luck today.   As I wandered further into the reserve I noticed several people with binoculars and long lens cameras looking across another lake at the elusive Kingfisher.   Suffolk Wildlife Trust have built an artificial nesting site for the Kingfishers, whilst Mrs was nesting Mr was keeping watch.   This image is not as sharp as I'd have liked, but beggars cant be choosers and it was taken handheld and it was quite a distance across the lake.
