Scotland day one

While the weather was so good we headed over the border for a few days,  we slowly made our way along the opposite side of the Solway to where we live. Had lunch  out side in the sunshine,  at The Paul Jones Hotel, Southerness. On to Kippford for a walk along the driftwood sculptures, which I always enjoy. Further on I took this picture of the Wickerman advertising the festival. At this point a disappointment as the motor on my Canon went 2nd time in 6 months (hoping to get it repaired on insurance). We found a lovely campsite on a farm "Solway View" (with a nature reserve) near Borgue, we were awake to see the sunrise, hares running around and deer. Walked through the woods, the bluebells were just starting to come out, it was a gorgeous morning........
