Farewell League 1

It comes to something when the highlight of the game is the tomfoolery between the mascots at half time. Here is Yeovil's Little Jolly "attacking" Port Vale's K9.

Yeovil were pretty much shocking throughout the game but, having gone 1-0 down after 12 minutes we somehow, and totally undeservedly, managed to get an equaliser with 7 minutes to go. Typically of this season, we immediately conceded a soft goal to lose 2-1.

Like the chap on the left, none of us knew what to make of it. A dismal end to a disappointing season.

On a positive note, we're looking after Sophie for the night again. She's always enough to cheer you up.

Edit: just noticed that a year ago to the day we were making our exit from the Champuonship at Brighton, but having given a much more creditable account of ourselves both on the day and throughout the season.
