Spring has sprung

The blossom I previously pictured chose today to fall off the tree in one massive lump, mostly on top of Mme Tepeka's car. 

We've been having a spirited discussion about whether or not it's our responsibility to sweep up the blossom from the street, seeing as how it fell off our tree. Mme Tepeka is in the 'ignore it and it'll go away camp', whereas I'm sternly trying to persuade her to go outside with a broom. She's not falling for it, though.

Seeing as how people were so shocked by the state of the green backdrop in yesterday's picture, I've decided to take advantage of the new Extra Photos thingy to show you the final result. See! It did work (more or less) ok after all. But thank-you for the offers to come round with an iron and sort it out for me...
