Prince Charming
Pushy parent alert. If you think that dressing your kids up smart for village fete day is pushy then please do not read any further!
No1 son's school is in a beautiful village (lancashire's best kept village on many occasions) and has a yearly field day complete with rose queen and cake stalls. While making polite conversation with the incoming rose queen's mother I discovered that they did not have a prince charming. I was unaware that such a role even existed. "oooh" I said "no1 son would love to do that. He love dressing up! He will be very good. He played Joseph in the Christmas play". No1 son dutifully nodded in agreement. And so, with a bit of discussion by the field day committee, no1 son was crowned the prince charming! And here is his outfit. Is this the face of a child forced into it? Mr mc need not answer!
