Another Swan

I felt pretty lousy when I got up this morning, my whole body seemed to be aching this wasn't helped by the fact my neighbours (above my flat) got home at about 3:30am this morning, banging doors and stamping around chatting loudly before putting some loud music on... which went on until almost 5:00am! 

Anyway I made some lovely giant "pigs in a blanket" for breakfast, a couple large Crombie beef sausages with crushed chillie and mustard carefully wrapped in rashers of Scottish smoked bacon (the rashers were quite narrow and I needed 7 rashers for each sausage!). I then grilled them with a homemade maple syrup, olive oil and Dijon mustard. They were lovely but I was stuffed after eating two (in fact I could finish the second one and finished it off cold much later in the day).

Although it was a lovely sunny day I didn't have the energy to face Saturday crowds and stayed in, waiting until it approached sunset before venturing out to take a few pictures, including this swan. Unfortunately the sunset wasn't very spectacular from around The Shore (see the Extra Photos) and there was a freezing cold breeze coming in from The Forth so I rapidly retreated home again.
