How times change

Well not that much I suppose as we are in a blues bar on a Saturday afternoon playing cards so almost exactly like 16 years ago. The main difference is that as actual grown-ups we now order water too.

If it isn't too confusing we have had a busy, lazy day. Lazy as we have done nothing that could be called a job, work or errand. Busy as we have done lots of walking, shopping, eating, talking nonsense, playing cards and seen a good, though slightly melancholic band. And made a little progress on planning our mega road trip to Spain in the summer.

And I learned a new word - concatenation. I realise now I should have tried to drop it into the write-up but I think it is fair to say there has been none in our day. I'll aim for it this week. But mainly I find it satisfying to say out loud.

It has been a good day.
