The Moffat Ram

We called for coffee in Moffat today on the way home and this beautiful Ram was in the market place surveying everything.

In 1875 William Colvin presented this sculpture by William Brodie to commemorate the important role played by Moffat in the wool trade.

William Brodie was also the sculptor of Greyfriars Bobby who stands in Edinburgh.
