An eventful birthday!

Our main reason for coming back to Cambridge this weekend was to celebrate my mums birthday with all the family at a mid point for us, mum & dad and my sister. The Jade Fountain in Sawston was the chosen destination as we like to sit on the big round table with the lazy Susan!.

Unfortunately my dad got a flat tyre minutes after leaving our house, so we all piled out of the car in our 'going out' gear to get the tyre changed. As you can see from the photo we all 'helped'Jon and dad with it (not)!!!

It took Jon just 10 minutes. Mum said to me 'it's a good job you married an action man, isn't it!?' Back on the road we were only 10 minutes late for our table booking.

We had a lovely evening. Lots of laughter. Nice food and great company. Only Daniel missing, but he was there in spirit. We took loads of photos, and thought that as our days are numbered in Cambridge we need to set a date for a fair well bonfire! June perhaps...
