Gripped

This morning's tour in the Hallerbos by the forest ranger was very entertaining and informative. We walked through parts I hadn't been before and thus saw sights not seen before, like this fallen tree gripped by the roots of a vine-like parasite. It was wet and overcast today which made the mauve/purple of the bluebells more intense.

Thanks very much for your kind comments and stars for yesterday's crab apple blossom and some extra faves for Thursday's bluebell enchantment. We're off to Scotland by ferry tomorrow, so I may be a bit absent tomorrow.
