greeted me as i - turned the corner - in the woods behind - the ridge in the back - of my house - something which i don't - recall from last year - i glanced in the direction - of the fragrance to see - a lone random lilac bush - growing amidst a couple - other trees - how does this happen - that it simply appears out of nowhere - and then is wrapped - around and through - these other trees? - i would like to imagine - it's birds at play - taking up seed - then dropping them - as they fly - leaving these little surprises for - us human beings - to discover at various - times to be delighted - it is a theory which works - for me and in - turn makes for...
