McDonald's Tablets

Was very surprised when I took my niece into McDonald's for lunch that lots of the tables downstairs had white tablets fixed to them.

Families were sitting there not talking to each other but rather playing games, reading the news, checking the sports results etc.

What's happening to the art of conversation?!
