Kaiapoi River

A wonderfully warm autumn day, 25C while I was out and about. Many were picnicking in the gardens while others were walking and jogging, the skateboard park was extra busy and a couple of kayakers enjoyed the serenity of the river.

Heavy clouds hovered over the river with short bursts of intense sunlight lighting the trees, this was one of those moments.

I'm not entirely sure this is the best shot of the day but it was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon :)
