River

South Australia isn't known for its waterways - except for the Murray River, but that's a whole different story.

Most of the small creeks and rivers around our way only run after heavy rain, and we were blessed with rain a couple of days ago.

So this is the Sturt River, with water in it.  And rather than  a 100 foot cascade, this is probably about 2 foot at most, maybe only 18 inches.  but I was very happy to get soft water, sans tripod, by just wedging the camera between my shoulder and the top bar of a fence.  Worked a treat.
