flower blip of the year.
This is called a snakehead and I think it's rather pretty. It reminds me of a Chinese lantern somehow.
Last night, we went to see Graham Parker and Brinsley Schwarz in Aberdeen. They are 64 and 68 respectively. The audience was mainly male of a similar age. They were pretty good. The extra photo of them is pretty awful but it gives you an idea.
Today, it's a light sanding of the floor then a final coat of varnish.
