The fascination of learning all the time

Here is H who is 13 months old. He is the grandson of my friends L and S. I called this evening and had a lovely time taking a few photos of H and his big sister, age 3. She has chicken pox so is not looking at her best, but is over the worst and full of mischief.

If I can, I always buy stacking beakers for new babies, ready for the time they can begin to enjoy them. They are such a simple toy with lots of possibilities. H is learning to stack them but really enjoys knocking down the tower you build for him. What better than to be exploring possibilities while you sit securely on Mum's knee?
