Another goal down.

Limehouse Laces v Charlton Athletic girls under 12. Today was my first proper taste of being a football watching parent. Alice's team were outclassed in every department ; they were Bradford City to Charlton's Man Utd but kept at it and never gave up.
The Laces have only been playing together for two or three months and some of the girls had barely kicked a ball before, so to see their enthusiasm and eagerness was a joy. It must have been tough on them though because last week they almost won their first match which filled them with confidence which couldn't help but be a bit dented today.
The temptation to yell instructions to them was overwhelming but that's the coach's job so i held my tongue.
