Sharing the Knowledge

I (Chris) had a fabulous day in London meeting up with a collection of photographers who all form part of a small private group on Facebook. It began life as a set of us that completed a basic digital photography course with the Open University in 2011 but has grown with the addition of friends of members of that original core group.

We've had a few gatherings over the years but this was probably the largest and so great to meet some people for the first time, particualrly those who regularly share on the private group their photos and advice. We ambled about on a rough route of London, plenty of familiar locations for me but always fascinating to see them through the eyes of other photographers. There was lots of knowledge sharing and general chat on photography and beyond, all in all a really fun day and nearly rain free until we tried to do a bit of night shooting after dinner. This was one of only a few rain spot free images I got.
