Pause

Mr M and I visited my parents today.  The weather was terrific - fairly warm, sunny, pleasant.  I had taken Riley for a long walk and them my mother and I sat on the side porch with Riley, enjoying the day.  The place they live is surrounded by big trees and there are squirrels everywhere.  Riley was at attention for a while as the squirrels scampered across branches high up in the trees.  This one came down to have a bite to eat.  He was busy chewing his acorn until he heard a noise, then he took a pause to see what was happening.  

We had a lovely day visiting and even got a few "housekeeping" projects completed.
