Knitted Basketweave Top
Every spring I say to myself, I need a knitted layer to wear in the garden rather than a chunky sweater or a jacket. So I've made a gauge swatch, calculated how many stitches I needed and did a 2 by 2 rib for 2.5 inches. Made sure I added some stitches evenly on the first row of basketweave so I could divide by 8. Knitted 4 then purled 4 for 5 rows then purled 4, knitted 4 for 5 rows. It's a good start.
