early to the airport to get hire car back and get through American customs
a couple of weeks ago, the company, with which I booked the flights, changed in flight plan. They decided not to notify the airline of this change, so i couldn't board the plane without getting an e-ticket number from them in the 15 minutes before depature
...needless to say i didn't make it, but 3 long phone calls later I was able to catch a flight to Newark and still mange to miss the connection back to Edinburgh due to delays in take off
One (rather hilarious) sarcastic information desk later, I was rerouted to Heathrow
