Black Cloud Hanging Over Me
It was such a funny day. Sun was splitting the sky in the morning, but the wind was cold. Mind you, there is still a fair bit of snow on some of the hills, as we saw when we were driving back down the road from our trip this week.
I was going canvassing this afternoon at 2pm, and just as I left the house the sky blackened and the rain started. Luckily it went off quite quickly, and then alternated between sun and showers for the next couple of hours.
When I got home I discovered it had been a wild hailstorm just 6 miles along the road! Glad we missed that.
Stewart, my canvassing partner, and I had a nice stroll round the village for a couple of hours. We had the chance to find out a little more about each other, and discovered little cul-de-sacs and addresses I didn't know existed.
Just going to make some tea now (either Bolognese or Chilli, not quite decided) then while that is cooking I promised Mum I'd pop round to show her the holiday photos on the laptop.
Back to work tomorrow, unless I won the lottery last night - just going to check it. I'll let you know tomorrow .......
