Goddess

It is always nice to cycle past a Goddess, even in a heavy storm of sleet.
This is the quite recently restored St Bernard's Well in Stockbridge which houses a natural spring.  It was commissioned in 1789 and is based on the Roman temple at Vesta, the beautiful lady is Hygeia goddess of health.  The whole scene is enhanced by the blossom on the opposite bank of The Waters of Leith.
I had another good day at the Botanics on a design course.
