The McManus

10.8C at the Met.Office weather station at Leuchars (local weather station shows 18.5C) starting bright and sunny, with heavy showers developing through the afternoon including one torrential hail shower (with very large hailstones). Moderate breeze with wind to 24 mph and gusts to 33 mph during the showers.

Apothecary7 and I have decided to split our Sunday grocery shopping into two parts to make sure we get all the things we want. Today, after the Sainsburys visit, we headed for M&S at City Quay in Dundee. Before shopping there we took Maeve the Deerhound for a walk up to the Howff, passing The McManus (art gallery and museum) on the way. The sun was out and the Howff was well lit with the sun above the buildings and most of the trees coming into leaf or in full blossom.

After lunch we took Maeve for a walk. We didn't get far past the church before it started raining. We turned back so as not to get Maeve soaked. No point when she might not be 100% fit. She did sleep through the night though, which is good !
