Madeira - Day 8 - (early morning in Funchal)

Although the clouds generally hugged the mountain area to the north, they did occasionally venture over Funchal ... That said, in the time that we spent there, we saw little, or no rain to speak of ...

This shot was taken early one cloudy morning from a bridge which linked one section of our hotel to the other ... I had been hoping to capture a sunrise, but that wasn't to be ...

So instead, I went back below and had a breakfast of cereal, followed by bacon, tomatoes, egg, sausage, cheese, baked beans, a bread roll, toast, fruit juice and coffee ... (and I don't generally eat anything for breakfast) ... :o)
