Santa is still here???

On Thursday night we flew to  Scotland for my best friend's wedding.  On Friday we managed to get the cake sorted for our wedding and then in the afternoon we headed up to Dunkeld to get all settled into the hotel before the big day.

We went for a walk in the grounds of Dunkeld House hotel which was along the Tay and incredibly picturesque.  

I found this incredibly odd little Santa in the grounds which gave me a chuckle - not really in keeping with the time of the year.

The weather forecast for the weekend wasn't great but luckily it held and we have had a gorgeous weekend.  The evening was spent having dinner and chatting with other people involved in the wedding and ensuring all the prep was in place for the next day.  I did attempt an early night however having been in the bride's room for a little last minute prep on dresses etc I went back to my room only to find no answer from Steve (who had the only key).  I was a little worried and went to the reception for another key in case he had slipped or something only to find him laughing away in the bar having a wee dram.  He was laughing until he saw my face!!!!

I decided they should buy me a drink just to make up for the stress of it all so a couple of drinks later and I was off to bed.
