St Georges Day Parade

Lennon was the flag carrier for todays parade for the 45th Gloucester (Abbeydale) Beavers today on the St Georges Day Parade. Dhylan was also marching but he is in the Scouts now so in a different marching group.
Lennon should be going up to the Cubs next month so a uniform change and a lot of unpicking of badges and re-sewing for Marlane :-)

St Georges Day is on the 23rd of course but the parade is always on the Sunday. They marched from Gloucester Park to the Cathedral. a total of 0.7 of a mile, about 1km. There they have a short service and some hymns to commemorate St George, Englands' Patron Saint
