Time to go home

The sea and the beach are behind me here, as I walk up the slipway towards the village. Many of the houses are Victorian, some are earlier, but it is very pretty and winds its way slightly uphill. The rest of the village lies on steep slopes all around this small valley.
The building with the red balcony is an art gallery on the ground floor. We have been staying in the lovely apartment above it, which has great views!
