Incoming Storm

We took the dogs to Ethie Woods for a change, leaving the house in bright sunshine. As we drove to the woods we could see some very dark clouds to the west but they seemed to be skirting round Arbroath so weren't too worried about them. All was fine and we walked in the woods in bright sunshine although we could see some very dark clouds not too far away until suddenly we had a 5 minute hailstorm before the sun came out again and we walked back to the car again in the warm sun.
We also remembered why we don't come here too often - Kilbo found a stinking, muddy ditch to play in. It looked like he was trying to dig through the mud to reach Australia and he was totally covered in sludgy mud. We managed to get some of it washed off by persuading him to swim in a couple of water filled ditches but when we were finished we had to take him down to the beach for a proper swim in clean water.

We then nipped into the supermarket for 10 mins. When we went in it was sunny , when we came out it was sleety snow. A very odd day weather-wise.
