Birthplace of the RHS
I spotted this plaque hidden away in the lift at Hatchard's bookshop in Piccadilly when I was there this morning.
It a shame it doesn't have more prominence.
Some interesting names here: John Wedgwood was the eldest son of the potter while Joseph Banks took part in Captain Cook's first voyage to the Pacific Ocean and was President of the Royal Society for over 40 years.
