Male Blackbird.
Gardening at the holiday lodge was the order of the day. After my Sunday lie in off course! Main jobs cutting grass and more work on the herbaceous border we are making.
The birds seem to know when we are about to finish work as they show no interest until round about packing up time. Today we were sitting with our final cuppa when the Blackbird and two Robins appeared. Going by the antics of the Robins we are on the boundary between two territories.
After the work we didn't feel like going anywhere special looking for blips so I have decided on this shot of the Blackbird. Before any bright spark (he knows who he is) comments on the length of grass the strimming round the fence etc is a job for tomorrow.
