The kids you will ecognise - the lady in the middle is my sister. Today we went to Liverpool to see the torch celebrations and we loved it. My sister is in charge of organising the northern leg of the torch route. We are so, so proud of her. The kids loved holding an Olympic torch and standing next to one of the cars. They were almost as impressed by the Aston Martin parked next to it though...

When Micki saw us the first thing she did was burst into tears. When I told Mum she cried too. I think there will be lots of exhillarated tears over the next few months.
