Last Day.........

..........In Wanaka.


This morning we visited the Time Lapse display which is part of Wanaka’s ‘Festival of Colour”. The photography and the music were amazing.
This afternoon we drove towards Mt Aspiring National Park. Of course the autumn colours were everywhere and awesome.
 
This photo was taken somewhere between the turn off to Treble Cone ski area and Raspberry Creek.
The ‘extra’ photo was also taken along this side of Lake Wanaka at Diamond Lake. It’s very small, but the reflections from this point were stunning – as were the towering rock formations.
(I couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the main photo on the map, so I have marked Diamond Lake)

 
I really appreciated all the wonderful comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip of Wanaka’s famous tree.   I also thank those of you who took the time to look at the back blips I uploaded yesterday.
 
Tomorrow we leave for Lake Tekapo - with a detour into Mount Cook.
