Day 197 - Mahabalipuram

Today was spent exploring the temples and rock carvings from the 7th and 8th centuries that are dotted around the town. This is Arjuna's Penance. Arjuna is standing on one leg and fasting so that Shiva will give him a powerful weapon. Had a great day.
